End of summer semester, 2021, final grades submitted, and once again, I’m officially on vacation and unemployed. Wondering how many more of my Clawson High, Class of 1964 mates are also still chasing the buck, still working on their first million… let me know, will you?  I’m interested in hearing from you, so I can maybe discover what makes us tick!

And not holding my breath until the next class reunion…not with the way this crazy world is swinging… what’s lost was really won, and what’s down is really up, well… you just can’t count on anything being solid and dependable anymore, or so it seems.

Count on your family, some of them, at least, and count on your real friends… the one or two incredible people you’ve met along your life journey who, even if you don’t see them for many years, when you finally do, they instantly make you happy to see them again, and you take up right where you left off and they are what’s solid and dependable and trustworthy still… even in this craziness we’re in the midst of now. You know who they are, and they’re your anchor, the true people in your life who will always be there when you need them.

These, and our memories, of times past, and beautiful folks who’ve left, and the now sacred places where we lived our lives with them. These are the true things in life, immutable and forever ours for as long as memory endures.
